a genuine love for people — these are just some of the reasons for Keith Longbotham’s popularity at churches, conferences, concerts, and other special events. He has a unique blend of talent, humor, and sincerity. Whether for a few people or a few thousand, he brings laughter, and inspiration to people and churches of all sizes and denominations.
Keith is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a BA in Music. After graduation he served as minister of music for 5 years at the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton, Texas. In 1982 he moved to Nashville, TN to join a bluegrass show at Opryland USA, a musical theme park. For the next 8 years he not only entertained fans he attracted the attention of country music legends Roy Acuff and Porter Wagonner. Soon he was invited to make guest appearances with Acuff and Wagonner at the Grand Ole Opry. For many years, Keith has led worship and performed concerts for Lifeway Christian Resources at Glorieta and Ridgecrest for many of their Single and Senior Adult Conferences. As a result of this he has been invited to churches all across the country. |
